Classic Car Show & Summer Fête
100 hectares of green space in the middle of Wuppertal. Forests and lawns, parks and ponds, walkways and hiking trails, playgrounds, rest areas and lookout points… In the Barmer Anlagen, you will find whatever you are looking for: no matter if you want to recover, go shopping, chat a bit, play or relax… To make a long story short, our motto is: Live and let live.
This is not a vision of the future. This is today! These are the Barmer Anlagen – the second biggest private recreation area in the Federal Republic of Germany.
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Barmer Verschönerungsverein, we illuminated various historical monuments and organised a huge fireworks display to music.
We also planned and conducted the following events:
Classic car show in the Barmer Anlagen
A high-class classic car event with more than 200 cars and several thousand visitors in the Barmer Anlagen.
Summer Fête & Children’s Party around the Tower Toelleturm
Inauguration of a new playground with a two-day children’s party promoted by the Jackstädt Foundation.
Huge two-day summer fête with exciting framework programme and excellent catering around the Toelleturm.
